About Chambadu Sree Koormba Temple

The Goddess Sree Koormba is said to have arrived at Chambadu via Kunnirikka Mana and Kunnummal because she was displeased with the corruption prevalent in the Vengodu Sree Koormba Kavu . The temple has now been completely renovated. The Muzhappilangadi temple and this temple are supposed to be similar in style and structure. The Chambadu temple history is muddied with a mixture of facts and myths but documents justifying the corruption are consistent with contemporary occurrences.
