Climb the 1903 lighthouse at Kannur Cantonment for a panorama of the coast and the fort.
The Kannur lighthouse stands on a headland near the Cantonment area, between Payyambalam and St. Angelo Fort. The tower, in Indian lighthouse service since the early 20th century, is open to visitors in the evenings and offers one of the best views of the Kannur coastline.
