  • Karivellur Muchilottu Bhagavathi Temple Kaliyattam — dates to be announced

    Theyyams: Muchilottu Bhagavathi

Kerala Tourism listed: "Annual Kaliyattam - dates to be confirmed" — could not be parsed into a specific Malayalam month/day; awaiting confirmation with the temple committee.

    Dates to be announced

Confirmed dates come from the temple’s own notice. Listed dates were published by a Theyyam calendar website and Estimated dates are worked out from the traditional Malayalam date; both can shift. Always confirm with the temple before travelling.

About Karivellur Muchilottu Bhagavathi Temple

One of the most important Muchilottu Bhagavathi kavus of the Vaniya community in Payyanur taluk. The annual Kaliyattam draws large crowds, and the rare Perumkaliyattam (grand festival held once in a generation) at Muchilottu kavus is among the biggest events in North Malabar.
